OpenTable launched an OpenTable Facebook application that lets Facebook users make dinner reservations directly from Facebook restaurant pages. For example, check out the restaurant page for Junnoon Restaurant – next to Facebook’s headquarters in Palo Alto.
In a couple steps users can quickly and easily make a reservation for Junnoon, and no OpenTable account is required (although you should sign up to earn Dining Points!). Also, reservations are automatically added to the news feed and shared with friends. We were excited to work closely with both OpenTable’s API and Facebook’s Platform team to get this application out in time for today’s announcement in NYC.
