Travel Channel’s Kidnap, Context Optional’s most recent campaign, is an interactive social game we built on Facebook. In the 3 months since we launched the game, Kidnap has grown to over 3M users and is now the most popular branded application on Facebook as well as a top 10 game. Context Optional also recently launched an iPhone application for OpenTable.
As our East Coast Sales Director your job is to prospect, negotiate, and close strategic business partnerships for large brands. Part sales, part creative director, you will formulate and sell unique marketing campaigns on social networks that drive brand business goals. In this role, you will utilize your relationships with top marketing decision makers at Fortune 500 companies and major agencies together with your deep understanding of how brands are best positioned on sites such as MySpace, Facebook, and LinkedIn to pitch innovative, engaging campaigns.
This role requires creativity and strategic thinking from a savvy interactive marketing and sales guru. If you have a proven track record of success driving revenue through strategic relationships, creativity in crafting campaigns to meet client needs, and passion and enthusiasm for how social networks are changing the online landscape, then Context Optional has an amazing growth opportunity for you.
